— Personality In Three WordsHaving spent most of her life within Lindblum's walls, it could be said Mina was practically destined to become an entertainer one day. She struggled her way through many an instrument in search of her musical muse, clear until she found her rhythm in... well, rhythm! Percussion spoke to her in the liveliness of its beats; the sound of the drum but a voice to match her own. And musical poetics aside, seeing that these delightful little drums of hers brought so much joy to the world brought her joy in return.Mina is pretty darn cute and she knows it. She uses that natural radiance of hers to make a fairly decent living as an entertainer. While she knowingly charms her way into people's pockets, it should be noted that she truly is an amiable newt gal. Her enthusiasm for friendship rivals that for coin. In fact, she will gladly give her coin to someone in greater need than herself, when feasible.Even on the days where all she has are her little drums and the clothes on her back, Mina is thankful for the hands that can still play and the heart that can lead their rhythm.

Brief History (WIP)

Growing up in Lindblum alongside a younger brother, younger sister, older brother, mother, father, grandmother and a family Chocobo, Mina was given a rather busy, but vibrant childhood! As a whole, the Rouhani's were a lower class family that were just able to make ends meet. However, for what riches they lacked materially, they made up for in heart and soul.Though a portion of their home was allocated as space for a small store, one day, Mina's more musical hobbies began to outshine the business. Given her success as a performer, this inspired her to pursue it as a career. And in having the support of her family every step of the way, especially her mom, she includes them in as much as she can in her success. To this day, she continues to split her earnings with them.

Trivia

  • Because the species of newt that inspired Mina's design is endemic to parts of Iran, much of Mina's overall theme is Persian inspired. The family name "Rouhani" is a Persian surname, translating to "soulful."

  • The name "Mina" also bears Persian origin and carries with it several meanings. Among them is "azure sky" and "marguerite flower," bright and merry little things befitting a bright and merry little lady.

  • Mina is quite skilled with Tetra Master. Given her knack for puzzles and problem solving, one could see why she may excel at such a game!

  • Despite being mostly inspired by the Luristan newt in design, Mina can do the eye-licking thing geckos do. She can, she isn't notorious for doing it like her siblings, though, who often did it (and still do) simply to mess with people.
